Avaliable Job Today We're looking for a qualified, experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a history of working with low voltage circuits and experience with equipment maintenance and repair. The ideal person for this position is someone who is self-motivated, enjoys working in a team environment, addresses issues quickly and efficiently, and is able to delegate tasks to co-workers when necessary. The Maintenance Technician works closely with the Facilities Manager and Engineering team.
Responsibilities:
- Have a knowledge of standard maintenance practices and repair procedures.
- Be able to instruct staff on maintenance practices and safety procedures.
- Have knowledge of power tools and hand tools that are used in the repair and construction of mechanical systems.
- Be able to analyse and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings of mechanical systems.
- Be able to use computer diagnostic devices.
- Understand hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic principles.
- Understand structural design principles.
- Understand structural integrity testing principles.
