About Strand Palace
All 788 guest rooms, lobby, restaurant and bar are refurbished to a modern and contemporary style inspired by the hotel's popular art deco era in the 1920's. We welcome guests on business and leisure from all corners of the UK and worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- To give instructions and guidance to staff and guests at all appropriate times.
- To maintain a high level of customer service when dealing with any problems/requests, and completing work and reports in a prompt and efficient manner.
- To maintain a sufficient stock of materials and spares in delegated stores, advising maintenance management when ordering is required.
- To assist in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for staff and guests, and to ensure all audits, both internal and external are satisfactory.
- To complete and maintain documentation in line with health and safety regulations relating to water, fire, and electrical equipment and appliances and any other technical laws/requirements.
- To liase with Contractors on Site, ensuring they are signed in, and have completed all necessary permits to work, and that relevant staff are aware that contractors are on site.
- In the event of an emergency, know the location of, and how to isolate all valves, switches, power supplies, and drain runs throughout the hotel.

- Proactive approach, with excellent time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Available to work a shift pattern that covers days nights.
- Works well in a team but it self-motivated and does not need much instruction
