Job description
Private Client Legal Director / Partner
A prestigious Top 50 UK firm with an exceptional culture is seeking an experienced Private Client Legal Director/Partner to join their Manchester office. This national firm has a remarkable reach and is currently undergoing quality-driven growth, offering top-rate lawyers more autonomy, clearer progression prospects, and a less corporate, more sociable culture without compromising on the quality of work.
The Firm:
Renowned for its solid leadership team and strategic hires, this Top 50 firm is recognized as a true leader in the legal industry, with esteemed individuals among its ranks. With high rankings in the Legal 500 and consistent, quality-driven growth, the firm has secured a diverse range of domestic and international work. Ahead of the curve on the changing legal landscape, the firm invests in its own growth while providing exceptional progression pathways and remuneration schemes. Its standout culture is energetic, sociable, and fun, attracting individuals who seek a more enjoyable approach to collaborative working.
The Role:
As part of their ongoing expansion, this Top 50 UK firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Legal Director/Partner to join their award-winning Private Wealth Team in Manchester. Private Wealth is a key strength within the firm, with recognized L500 and Chambers individuals driving growth on a national and global scale. The team offers a diverse range of services, including trusts, wills, tax and estate planning (UK and cross-border), contentious estates, and agri-specialisms.
Collaborating with their highly ranked L500 counterparts, you will have access to referred matters for high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients. Given the seniority of this role, you will be an experienced lawyer expected to have contacts and the ability to generate further business for the team. The firm has specialist teams within the Private Client department, allowing you to shape the role around your specific strengths and interests, or alternatively, a broad role with investment and support is also available.
