Job description
We are looking for an organized and motivated Maintenance Person to join our busy and committed Site team. The successful candidate will provide a caretaking and maintenance service across the school site. Duties will include general caretaking work, repairs to buildings and equipment, opening and locking-up buildings and driving the school minibus. Working hours are 37 hours per week from Monday to Friday plus additional weekend duties on a rota basis (approximately once each half-term) for which overtime will be paid.
Candidates should have general DIY skills, a full driving licence and the ability to work as part of a team. Previous health and safety training and experience of working with young people would be an advantage but are not essential.
Salary: Grade 13 Point 7 on the Somerset Pay Spine, Actual Salary £24,295 per annum.
