Your New Role…
As the Lead Content Strategist for CNN Create EMEA you will be responsible for the content strategy and branded content narrative component of sales proposals to clients. You will lead a team responsible for developing strategic solutions and delivering best in class proposals covering brand consulting and branded content. With strong storytelling abilities, you will be comfortable applying data and insight to create compelling creative solutions, collaborating on large multi-team projects as well as pitching to clients and internal stakeholders.
Your Role Accountabilities…
Managing and overseeing the Brand Studio response to briefs and development of the content strategy narrative for all EMEA Create pre-sale output. This includes collaborating with colleagues across Audiences & Data, Revenue Strategy, digital and product leads – to help pull together the best possible solutions for RFPs or pro-active pitches for clients across the region.
Lead a team consisting of 2+ Strategists in London in the response to briefs and be a key presenter of proposals to internal stakeholders and external clients.
Capitalise on CNNIC’s resources (data, research, dashbords, tools and intelligence reports) to inform creative solutions.
Build strong relationships with clients/agencies and work within a global, multidisciplinary internal team.
Working with A&D as well as available sources of data, provide up to date research, information and audience understanding to support the creative commercial solutions.
Develop methods of optimising our content through insight, data competitor analysis and strategic support to ensure content ideas deliver on KPIs and we stay relevant and competitive.
Reviewing output with CCO for QC, adherence to overall content strategy narrative and client brief.
Working globally with APAC leads and Sales Directors to align on process and identify proactive opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience…
Proven experience as lead or manager in an agency or publisher environment is essential.
Confident pitching creative concepts to clients, must have a portfolio of multiplatform campaign work.
Experience working with, Celtra, DFP, CMS systems and paid social media promotion would be a bonus.
Strong foundation in business, brand strategy and creative thinking.
Demonstrate ability to design strategies for creative campaigns across multiple platforms.
Deep understanding of digital products, social platforms and best practices.
Supporting relationships at a senior level across brands and agencies.
Ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously while upholding quality standards.
Ability to travel for work when necessary
