Fitters:
Anord Mardix are a global group that manufactures switchgear and associated products for installation in mission-critical and live commercial buildings ranging from data centres to the international headquarters of some of the world’s largest companies.
As part of our companies continued growth and expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen at our Blackburn site for a Fitter.
Key Roles and Responsibilities may include:
· Assembly and packing of tx housings
· Fitting inner framesand understanding the correct use of fixings for different aspects of the works
· Assembly and Fitting doors
· Pealing and prepping lexan assembly parts
· Fitting of all types of parts & components
· Understanding 3D construction/flexi bar drawings/ Working to schematic and mechanical/GA drawings
· Full understanding of drilling, tapping and insert sizes
· Fitting and making up of power cables
· Understanding GAs and panel layout and Wiring of panels and components
· Processing plinth covers and associated fixings
· Packing of panel joining kits and associated fixings
· Assisting the Mechanical/Electrical fitters where required
· Preparation of plug-in MCCBs – fitting of the CTs, breakers, plug in breakers
· Rectifying snags following testing
· Carrying out ancillary duties for production management where required
· Cleaning and wrapping product ready for dispatch
· Maintaining an awareness of Health & Safety requirements
· Ensuring Safe Working Procedures and correct & safe use of power tools are followed at all times
GENERIC DUTIES
· At all times and in all respects conform to and comply with the proper and reasonable directions and regulations of the company
· And any other tasks as necessary to ensure that the Company Profits are maximised at all time
· Ability to organise own workload and use initiative
· Confident under pressure and able to handle multifaceted objectives
· High level of organisation
· Efficient with thorough methods of working
· Liaising with Team Members as well as other Departments to ensure the availability of required components
Responsibilities:
- Clean rooms using cleaning supplies and equipment provided
- Perform routine maintenance such as light bulb replacement, tile maintenance, etc.
- Paint rooms using paint supplies provided
- Make sure all doors are shut properly and properly secured by locking all doors
- Clean floors throughout entire facility as directed by Supervisor
- Always have a professional appearance and attitude when working
