Clear View FM Ltd are a growing Facilities Company supporting Property Companies throughout the North of the UK.
We have a team of engineers, handy peoples, and office based staff supporting our clients with a range of maintenance needs.
We are currently expanding and on the lookout for a handy person to predominently be located in the West Yorkshire area.
We are searching for a Handy Person, to join our growing business. You will have a range of responsibilities, skills, and experience to carry out routine repair and maintenance jobs. To carry out a range of minor repairs to building, furniture and equipment. Working with our clients ensuring properties are ready with household maintenance, cleaning and decorating.
We are looking for a competent maintenance handyperson who is able to complete a range of tasks to a high standard. We work throughout the North of England but predominantly this role will be West Yorkshire with the possibility of travelling further afield.
We are advertising a full time position Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 but this is negotiable.
Main Responsibilities
- To undertake maintenance and repair work as required to ensure that the properties are functional and safe.
- To assist in preparing accommodation for re-let. This may include cleaning and clearing rooms, mending furniture, re-painting rooms and discarding unusable equipment.
- To be responsible for equipment and tools associated with the role.
- To take an active approach to the role and to be able to work on own initiative within the set procedures.
- To maintain highest levels of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Other appropriate duties as required from time to time by the Line Manager.
Person Specification
- A general all-round knowledge of maintenance topics.
- Ability to undertake painting, decorating, basic carpentry, minor electrical and plumbing repairs and general maintenance work.
- Able to move furniture and equipment using appropriate handling techniques.
- Ability to organise workload and respond to immediate needs.
- Ability to take verbal instruction and direction.
- Ability to follow written instructions and to keep written records of all repairs.
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety issues.
- Ability to work alone and to be self-motivated but also get involved with other members of the team from time to time on larger projects.

Salary: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
