£40,000 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance) + Overtime payments

Summary:
A leading technical coating solutions company - part of a larger Global Automotive Manufacturing Group, are currently looking for a full-time Maintenance Engineer to join their organisation on a fixed (2.00pm - 10.00pm) late shift.
Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer Job Description:
- Working in a £multi-million, state-of-the-art robotic plant
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance on plant and equipment including ABB robotics, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, motors, and PLCs
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with a TPM schedule
- Assisting in capital project installations and commissioning
- Working within a Kaizen environment on improvement projects throughout the factory alongside other department heads and management personnel
- Supporting the Manufacturing Team striving to ensure that the plant is performing effectively and efficiently achieving ‘Right First Time’ performance
- Working with external suppliers to obtain quotes for servicing, repairs & installation work
- Provide maintenance training for Production staff to enable them to engage in appropriate levels of TPM associated with their own functions
- Routine testing of Fire Alarm and Security Systems
- Taking an active role in Plant Health & Safety
- Attending Production Team Meetings
Experience required for this Maintenance Engineer position:
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing / production facility / environment
- You will be multi skilled with expertise in both electrical and mechanical maintenance
- Trained to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area
- Good working knowledge of pneumatics, (some) hydraulics, conveyor systems and air handling units is required
- Robotics knowledge would be advantageous but not essential
- Training undertaken or certificates obtained for Manual Handling, Working at Heights, Access Platform (IPAF) etc, would be preferred
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint would be an advantage
- Familiarity with ISS, Eisenmann, ABB, Calden and Aerogen plant equipment would be absolutely great, but not essential
