Job description
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join one of our prestigious clients based in Telford!
The successful candidate will work closely with the Shift Coordinators, Production Team and report directly into the Maintenance Supervisor. You will deliver planned maintenance inspections and perform corrective and reactive repairs to ensure site equipment is optimised.
What you’ll be doing
- PPM and respond to breakdowns / reactive maintenance
- Condition reports and risk assessments
- Maintenance of Granulators, Conveyors, High-speed sorting machines, Pneumatic Cylinders, Motors, PLC’s etc
- Aim to maximise performance and reduce production downtime
- Monitor any malfunctioning equipment and report to site management
- Engineering project work, installations and refurbishments
- Log your daily progress into the CMMS system
- Attend problem-solving workshops
- Provide updates on compliance, live defects and ongoing improvement plans
Hours
Monday-Friday (6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm)
Pay
£39,106 per annum
Skills/Experience Required
Essential:
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent
- At least 2 years’ experience as an electrical engineer
- Three-phase experience
- Health & Safety knowledge
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
Desirable:
- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Familiar with CMMS systems
