Job description
The Role
Hain Daniels are currently recruiting for a Production Engineer at our site in Histon.
As a production Engineer you are responsible for supporting the development and implementation of action plans to address root cause of all failures. You are also responsible for attending breakdowns promptly and ensuring all work orders and planned maintenance tasks are completed.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Engineering, Production and all other Site functions with ideas and initiative’s to optimise asset efficiency
- Encourage an open communication culture between departments. (Engineering, Technical, Production, Planning , NPD, and Hygiene)
- Checks include start up, line set (safety, operations, technical and engineering) routine maintenance in accordance with CMMS, PPM and Manufacturer’s schedules
- Receive, prioritise and complete work orders from various departments (Technical, Production, etc.).
- Continuous improvements
What you will need for the role / what it will take
- HND/HNC preferable.
- NVQ / C&G / Time Served with Relevant Engineering qualifications.
- Experience of FMCG operations
- HACCP experience
