After a new contract win with a household name, we now have a new permanent job opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer based onsite at our prestigious clients facility to join our new team integrating into the Musk Process Services family
As one of a team of Electrical Maintenance Engineers and a valued member of the Engineering Team you will have the responsibility of providing reactive support as well as planned electrical maintenance activities with additional assistance with electrical isolations.
Key Responsibilities
- Fault find, PPP and Reactive electrical maintenance work as allocated
- Assist other skilled trades in carrying out maintenance, repairs, testing, inspection and installation work
- Ensure all works is completed whilst adhering to health and safety protocols
- Complete electrical isolations when required in conjunction with the Team Leader
- Work with the rest of the engineering team to ensure a ‘one team’ mentality is adhered to
Skills & Experience
We value everyone’s skills and experiences but for this role are looking for people who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience working in an electrical maintenance role, preferably within a fast paced manufacturing industry
- The ability to read electrical & mechanical drawings
- A strong knowledge of working on a variety of equipment, conveyors, palletisers, mixers e.g.
- Experience of working within the food industry
- An understanding of working with maintenance planning software (desirable)
- A strong ethic of working
- Some mechanical fundamentals to compliment your electrical expertise
- Experience of working with PLC's
Specific Qualifications
- Must have some form of Electrical qualification (NVQ/BTEC)
- A minimum of 17th Edition
- Any additional qualifications that would add value to the team and the company (Test & Inspection, PUWER, etc)
