This job is remote working UK based or Office based in Edinburgh.
White Lotus Limited is an Edinburgh-based cosmetic teeth whitening business on the lookout for an experienced professional to join our marketing team. This role involves working directly with social media, email and SMS campaigns, as well as creating engaging content. The chosen candidate will directly handle marketing support requests from customers and be part of an exciting opportunity working with Public Relations agencies in response to teeth whitening in the media.
The Role
Working alongside our marketing team, your focus will involve creating innovative and strategic digital marketing solutions. You will create exciting and engaging content for all of our social media channels; including TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. You will have a good understanding of the beauty, cosmetic and aesthetic industry and be able to provide market research and competitor analysis. You will work with our experienced marketing team to communicate with salons across the UK, and play a central role in raising awareness of our growing business and products.
The role will also involve working on growing our website, SEO, Loyalty Points scheme, and write engaging content across all platforms. You will be involved in managing the rebranding and branding of products, as well as supporting the launch of new products and services.
Who you are:
As the key Digital Marketing specialist within the business, you will be expected to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines. You will have a strategic mindset, coming up with innovative solutions to help grow the brand. You will have the capacity to push boundaries and work closely with our MD in educating the wider business on all things Digital to assist with growth. Looking at how we are currently doing things and elevating us to the next level. You must also be creative at your core, having examples of previous work that represent your innovative ideas. The candidate will also be involved in providing marketing advice to our clients, so having customer service experience is a must.

We are a fast-growing cosmetic teeth whitening business with both B2B and B2C outputs. Our environment is welcoming, working with talented sales and marketing individuals across the UK. Although not based in one office, we have a strong work and team ethic.
This is an exciting time to join our company, as we are currently setting up a sister teeth whitening company, therefore you will play a central role in this expansion, such as working with PR companies, influencers and much more.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
- At least 3 years of marketing experience preferably in the beauty industry.
- Experience in Email Marketing and email journey map
- Experience in driving E-commerce projects using loyalty schemes, etc
- Worked on creating marketing plans for new brands or products
- Social media management (primarily Instagram and Facebook. TikTok experience is also highly desirable).
- Strong content creation experience/copywriting skills
- Devising new marketing avenues and strategies, and offering creative input into existing strategies
- Product marketing within the beauty or cosmetics industry
- Relevant hands-on experience designing landing pages and ads for direct response campaigns
- Driving forward national PR coverage
