Facilities Maintenance Engineer
Due to continued growth, a leading global manufacturer of parts and components supplied to major OEMs is currently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
Reporting directly to the maintenance manager the role is to ensure the effective operation of all site services to ensure the maintenance and improvement of all site services are carried to satisfactory standards comply with regulatory requirements.
Day shift, Monday to Friday with early finish on Friday
Salary : 30,000 Benefits including - Free Gym membership, Subsidised Caf, Life assurance, etc
Responsibilities of the Facilities Maintenance Engineer include -
- Ensure that the most cost competitive and suitable solution to building facilities needs are met as set by the Management Team
- Undertake projects efficiently and effectively which should be organised to meet deadlines and costs.
- Work to obtain the most efficient use of energy on site, energy consumption should be reduced as can be seen in the facilities' energy bills.
- Refurbishment of buildings and facilities to be completed in an organised manner to specifics as identified by the Management Team.
- Planned preventative maintenance tasks are carried out on time and any work is planned and completed in a timely manner
For the role of Facilities Maintenance Engineers, we love to hear from anyone that -
- Has experience of facilities maintenance and coordinating engineering projects within a manufacturing environment
- Has previously held the same job title, or similar, such as Site Services Engineer, Building Services Engineer, Maintenance Technician, or Facilities Engineer
- Are a time-served mechanical or electrical engineer or hold an ONC,City & Guilds or equivalent engineering qualification
