Job description
Full time Maintenance position, in charge of twenty seven rooms (hotel) and apartments in Central London.
We are looking for a well organised, flexible, multi skilled worker to join our company. This is a sole position and you will work on daily maintenance, preventative upkeep and repairs as well as respond to any emergency or urgent matter.
You will provide the hotel/apartments with a quality maintenance programme and perform the workload to a high standard of decorative and physical repair, ensuring as little disruption as possible to our guests and colleagues.
Job Specification
Including but not limited to:
Carrying out upkeep and repair jobs and maintenance - including painting, decorating, electrical work, plumbing throughout hotel plus apartments.
Keep the maintenance area organised and tidy and account for all equipment/supplies.
Deal with all maintenance requests promptly, giving priority to those areas affecting the service.
Attend to maintenance requests from apartments, as and when required, plus liaising with tenants to schedule repairs/deliveries etc.
Record electricity, gas and water meter readings and monitor consumption.
Liaise with the General Manager and provide regular progress reports/updates on maintenance operations.
Maintain heating and air conditioning levels and provide a comfortable environment for guests and staff.
Oversee essential service maintenance for fire alarms, extinguishers, emergency lighting etc.
Keep records of EICR, Fire Safety Regulations and Gas Safety certificates and renewal dates, maintain standards for necessary certification and ensure properties are compliant with statutory legislation.
Carry out regular Health and Safety reviews to ensure the properties meet legal requirements.
At least two recent references must be supplied.
