Campsie Glen Holiday Park is located in a tranquil setting, offering a variety of self catering accommodation, Pods and touring pitches as well as holiday ownership. Open 11 months, Campsie Glen boasts a seasonal bar and bistro, swimming pool and hot tub, with great outdoor space for all the family to enjoy. Just a short drive from Glasgow and Stirling, our rural and country surroundings provide a relaxing escape at any time of the year.
As we come to the start of an exciting and busy holiday season, we have a great opportunity for a Maintenance Assistant/Holiday Park Warden to join our team at Campsie Glen Holiday Park (G63 0LP).
This will be a very hands on role that will involve carrying out all grounds and maintenance activities on the Holiday Park, ensuring the park is presentable at all times and everything is in good working order.
The role will involve:
- Maintenance of our Static Caravans, Lodges and Facilities (including basic plumbing, electrics and joinery)
- Carrying out emergency and prearranged maintenance jobs for our Holiday Home Owners e.g. Tripped Electric, burst pipes
- Daily testing and maintenance of our Hot Tubs and Swimming Pool (training provided)
- General Grounds including strimming, edging, hedge cutting etc
- Being conscious of all Health & Safety considerations
- Park projects including moving and siting static caravans (training provided), creating new pitches, renovating facilities.
- On Call and Warden duties (paid at additional rate)
Accommodation is provided to allow the successful candidate to carry our Warden and On Call duties. The accommodation is provided on a rent free basis with utilities invoiced monthly based on usage.
This role is full time, working 5 days out of 7 weekly (weekend working required). Working hours are generally 35-45 hours per week with reduced winter hours to a minimum of 20 per week.
To be successful in this role a proactive attitude to work will be essential, as will the ability to use your own initiative. It is important that you take pride in your work and will want to ensure the Holiday Park always looks its best.
Experience in a similar role would be beneficial, either on a holiday park, within a Hotel or other Estate work.
Experience or Qualification within a trade would be very beneficial but not essential.
Driving licence is essential
