Job description
This is an exciting opportunity to join the newly formed Biology Finance team. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to support a dynamic and busy Finance team, providing key transactional and customer-facing support across the departments, in line with University financial controls. You will have experience working in Finance, a strong focus on customer service and working as within a team, and a sound understanding of the use of IT in administration.
The successful candidate will have outstanding team working skills and proven experience of managing day to day high-volume finance transactions. They will need to demonstrate attention to detail along with good organisational and prioritisation skills.
Strong Excel and financial systems skills are also key requisites. They will be able to manage their own workload and take a proactive approach to the role.
This post is full time (although applications to work 80% of full time are welcome).
