We are currently seeking an experienced, skilled and self-motivated Maintenance Assistant to strengthen our Glenmor Maintenance team, working 24 hours (mixed shifts) over Monday, Friday and Saturday.

The on target earning potential for this role is £12.57 / hour - comprising a base rate of £11.09, plus a qualified estimate of £1.48 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
Undertaking maintenance checks using checklists, recording and repairing any defects, ensuring our guests’ comfort and safety; responding to issues in occupied homes within an hour of reporting
Responding quickly to priority tasks, undertaking fault diagnosis and repair, ensuring that all work is always completed to the highest standard
Working as a team to complete all compliance works such as shower head chlorination, emergency lighting, fire alarm testing, ladder checks and bike servicing to comply with Health and Safety practices and procedures
Checking store stock and advising your Supervisor of any stock ordering requirements, ensuring our stores are kept clear, clean and tidy
You’ll make sure our bikes are clean and in perfect working order for our guests arriving, carrying out regular safety checks and completing the relevant documentation
Handing over to the next team each day, you’ll make sure these are clear and comprehensive and that all of your relevant team members are aware of ongoing and outstanding issues
Collaborating with all of the Glenmor teams, contractors and your colleagues across the estate, ensuring strong communication and building great working relationships
Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

Ideally, you have strong, relevant experience and a great track record in a similar role; you have huge pride in your work and strive to ensure every job is completed to the highest standard consistently
You can effectively communicate and share technical information in a straightforward, understandable way, always maintaining a professional manner
Remaining calm under pressure and dealing with conflicting priorities are second nature to you
You’re up for doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once; you’re comfortable working in an environment where things move and flex, where a can-do attitude is key
Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
