Maintenance Assistant (Fixed term 1 year)

Grade 4, £23,424-£25,227 (plus 5.75% increase from 1 April 2023)

35 hour per week, Monday to Friday

Job purpose:

Providing a customer focussed repairs and maintenance service. Including (1) pre and post inspecting of minor repairs, (2) instruct routine repairs, (3) manage and monitor minor void works, (4) undertake condition surveys and update property data, (5) liaise with customers and contractors.

Essential criteria:

  • Experience in a customer focussed environment.
  • Understanding of (1) health & safety and (2) repairs and maintenance.
  • ICT Competent.

You will:

  • have excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • be adaptable with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • be calm under pressure and work to achieve a positive outcome for customers.
