About The Role
We have a vacancy for an Electrical Engineer to join our team based in Leatherhead.
Free parking is available on site or alternatively a free shuttle bus is available between Leatherhead train station and our client site. Uniform is also provided
You will be responsible for the operational delivery of hard services, providing day to day building services maintenance and repairs
You will be on call for the sites out of normal hours and need to be available for out of hours planned work for the sites.
You will:
- Ensure Health and Safety compliance on the sites.
- Carry out the delivery of planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs and provide detailed documentation.
- Ensure all sub-contractors are monitored effectively using standard company documentation.
- Ensure the Company’s reputation for quality and service is enhanced with the client and the customer by maintaining high quality standards in all services.
- Continually assess the operation and performance of the services provided on site.
- Liaise and actively work with internal and external service delivery teams to ensure consistency of service delivery and compliance of KPI’s.
- Set building improvements plans from site audits.
- Interact with building tenants and update Facilities Managers on issues.
- Carry out PPM and reactive work on all Mechanical and Electrical Plant within your technical capabilities.
- Emergency light testing, recording and repairs.
- Small installation work
- Fault finding and repairs to various electrical plant.
- Proactive electrical works around site
- Test and inspection of installation works
- Supervision of specialist subcontractors, ensuring documents are received.
You’ll need:
- Qualified electrician to NVQ level but ideally qualified to the 17th/18th edition of the wiring regulations.
- Proven track record of Maintenance and Repairs, Hard Services PPM
- Test and inspection qualified would be desirable but training can be given
- Good knowledge of relevant legislation and Health & Safety
- Good level of numeracy and literacy
