Job description
This is an exciting opportunity to enhance & develop your knowledge and skills working alongside the Estates Department, based at Udston Hospital. As the post holder, you will maximise the efficiency and quality of the mechanical, electrical and environmental services for NHSL. The post holder will undertake work to rectify minor faults in the building services plant and mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment. The post holder will be required to maintain NHSL's assets to a high standard.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB
- Experience of working in an estates maintenance environment.
- Certificate of competence for Portable appliance testing C&G 23377/002 or equivalent competence.
- Certificate for use of mobile platforms
- Certificate of Electrical competence to work at or near electricity and apply local house rules
- Operate and understand the safe use of hand tools.
- Driving Licence.
- I.T. keyboard skills to allow manipulation of building management systems alarms on boilers, etc.
- Good communication skills.
Shift Pattern - Monday - Thursday 0800 to 1630, Friday 0800 to 1400
