We are looking for an enthusiastic mailroom officer to assist with the provision of a comprehensive post room service at the Council’s Lewis House office in Bath.


Accuracy in sorting and distribution large volumes of internal and external mail within stated deadlines is essential. The job requires good communication and customer care skills and involves general office administration work e.g. scanning, filling, photocopying and letter packing.


You must have a minimum of 3 GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent), and good IT and administration skills. The post will be based primarily in Bath although you will be required to work in either Bath & Keynsham as required, sometimes at short notice (reasonable travel expenses will be paid).


Salary: £21,575 per annum pro rata, 25 hours per week, working Monday to Friday 08:00 to 13:00 daily.


Based in Lewis House, Bath.
