Mailroom Assistant
The University of Aberdeen is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Mailroom Assistant within the Estates and Facilities Directorate to assist in the provision of a comprehensive mail service across the University.

Working hours will be based on a core Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm day shift pattern working within the University Mailroom on Kings Campus. Duties will include responsibility for handling and processing the majority of the University’s daily incoming and outgoing mail, including regular, special and recorded delivery letters, parcels and other items through Royal Mail and contracted Couriers. There is daily joint working and liaison with the University Portering team, Schools and Directorates, to provide advice and guidance on mail services provided, as well as carrying out a wide range of administrative tasks including receiving and processing invoices.
Applicants must have good written and oral communication skills, have experience in working with several computer software systems and should be educated to standard grade level (or equivalent).
Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 3 scale (£22,197 - £24,715 per annum), with placement according to qualifications and experience.
