Job description
- Process outgoing University US Mail;
- Determining the proper class and rate;
- Applying the postage, operating the machinery required, and maintaining records of postal charges; Sort mail within the University Mail Services;
- Fill in on delivery routes as necessary;
- Process all incoming and outgoing domestic and international mail distributed through the US Post Service;
- Process mail for distribution through the interdepartmental mail system for campus-wide distribution.
- Observe University’s safety requirements;
- Other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalency.
- Ability to perform routine assignments professionally in a route delivery mail system;
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated experience in Mail processing, meters, and hand sorting;
- Experience with or familiarity with all USPS regulations;
- Demonstrated experience in delivery in route system.
