Morgan Stanley is a leading global financial services firm providing a wide range of investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services.
- You will be able to take part in all aspects of the research production – from idea generation, data analysis, report writing and then promoting to clients.
- You will have responsibility for the team’s views on rates, local currency bond and FX markets of the countries under your coverage. You will develop investment ideas, trade recommendations and promote these to internal and external clients.
- As a strategist you can expect to learn from and work with senior members of the team on specific projects, collaborate with a variety of different teams within the research department and also work independently.
QUALIFICATIONS
- You have a strong academic background with a degree in a business related field, or equivalent.
- A strong interest in global macro and Emerging Markets is a critical pre-requisite for the role, including in both macroeconomics and financial market issues.
- Expert knowledge of fixed income markets is essential.
- Statistical and quantitative skills with a background in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of various coding languages packages would be desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team player and interact effectively with other research teams across the firm.
- High self-motivation and ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate competence with numerical concepts and tools.
This role is deemed as a Certified role and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.
This role is based in 20 Bank Street, London.
