CNC Machinist
Job Description:
The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting and operating a CNC machine to fabricate parts according to our customer specifications. This position is responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing process, including but not limited to: setup, operation, and troubleshooting of CNC machines. The position requires a candidate that is detail oriented and has a strong understanding of the manufacturing process. The candidate must be able to work in a team environment and meet deadlines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set and Operate CNC machines.
- Set up shop equipment for machining.
- Inspect parts for quality assurance.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions.
- Document quality control procedures and quality assurance procedures.
- Work closely with production team to ensure accuracy of work product and meet deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Required skills:
- Able to set and operate CNC machines - Milling or Turning
- Worked with metals such as stainless steel, aluminium, titanium etc
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Can self inspect own parts
- Minimum 3 years machining experience
Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £13.00-£19.00 per hour
