CNC Machinist

Job Description:

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting and operating a CNC machine to fabricate parts according to our customer specifications. This position is responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing process, including but not limited to: setup, operation, and troubleshooting of CNC machines. The position requires a candidate that is detail oriented and has a strong understanding of the manufacturing process. The candidate must be able to work in a team environment and meet deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set and Operate CNC machines.
• Set up shop equipment for machining.
• Inspect parts for quality assurance.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions.
• Document quality control procedures and quality assurance procedures.
• Work closely with production team to ensure accuracy of work product and meet deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Required skills:

• Able to set and operate CNC machines - Milling or Turning
• Worked with metals such as stainless steel, aluminium, titanium etc
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Can self inspect own parts
• Minimum 3 years machining experience

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £13.00-£19.00 per hour
