Employing around 25 people at their Bradford site, this impressive manufacturing business are now looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team on a permanent basis.
Based in Bradford just a few miles from the M62, this company is easily commutable from surrounding towns & cities including Huddersfield, Keighley, Halifax, Leeds, Wakefield, Dewsbury, Cleckheaton, Oldham, Pontefract, and Castleford.
The CNC Machinist will:
- Ideally hold formal qualifications within Mechanical Engineering (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, City & Guilds, NVQ or similar) – time served candidates will also be considered
- Have experience working as a CNC Machinist, Programmer within a high precision manufacturing environment
- Be capable of creating bespoke CNC programmes from scratch directly from engineering drawings & samples
- Ideally have experience working on XYZ machines and using Siemens or Prototrak controls
Working Hours of the CNC Machinist:
- 40 Hours per week across 5-day shifts:
- Monday – 07:30 to 16:00
- Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday – 07:30 to 16:30
- Friday – 07:30 to 14:30
- Regular midweek overtime available and paid at:
- 150% between 16:00 – 18:00
- 200% after 18:00
In return, the CNC Machinist will receive:
- Salary: £29,536
- Holiday Allowance: 31 Days per annum (23 + public holidays)
