Job Details
- To ensure that they always undertake their duties in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- To deliver 100% achievement of the production plan by ensuring material yield and machine availability is optimised.
- To provide excellent levels of customer service always.
- To ensure that products are produced “right, first time every time”.
- To ensure that a safe and healthy work environment exists by adhering to the company health and safety and environment polices and ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation.
Key responsibilities
- To complete short interval control, to resolve issues that are impacting performance or alternatively escalate where issues are unable to be resolved without support.
- To comply to Raleigh’s Quality standards.
- To support technical trials and projects.
- To continuously challenge the status quo in relation to lost time and material losses.
- To identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement.
- To maintain 5’s standards within the workplace.
- To work to VODS.
- To attend scheduled meetings on time.
- To service as and when requested to do so by your Shift Leader.
- To support your work colleagues and Shift Leader.
- To ensure all Safety concerns are raised with your immediate Manager.
- To complete task in line with documented risk assessments.
What will this role involve?
- To Operate machinery as per the Standard Operating procedures.
- To ensure hourly performance is monitored and recorded.
- To identify and correct product quality issues.
- To identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- To complete cleaning tasks as per standard operating procedures.
- To record production data that ensures full product traceability.
What we're looking for?
- Educated to GCSE level 9 to 5 or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in manufacturing environment.
- Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Excel.
- PPT, and PPT Lift truck licenses.
- Overhead crane training certificate.
- Good communication skills with the ability to relay information at a level relevant to the audience.
- Experience of cleanroom operations.
Desirable
Experience in Lean methodology.
