Machine Operator (Manufacturing)

Birmingham

Circa £35,000 + Overtime Opportunities + Holidays + Pension + Benefits Package

Continental Shift Pattern. 2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Off, Rotating.

DO YOU CURRENTLY OPERATE MACHINERY WITHIN A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT?

Machine Operator required for a well established manufacturer who offer a great team environment, progression opportunities and a high earning potential. They specialise in a wide range of products for a number of different industries.

The role would machine operators, general machinists or toolmakers who have experience working within a production or manufacturing environment. Machine Operators with experience working in heavier industries will have a considerable advantage. Applicants must be happy to solely operate milling machines. Training will be provided!

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will work to mill large copper coils to customer specification. You will use an overhead crane to place the coils onto the line and set machinery to mill the coils to a certain thickness. You will operate the machines on your own and monitor the progress of each coil through the process. You will then lift the coil off the line to be sent to the next department.

Machine Operator:

*Must have previous machine operation experience

*Can transfer from ANY manufacturing background

*Applicants from heavier industries will have a considerable advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £35,000.00 per year
