• This is a permanent day shift role, with the hours of work set at: Monday to Thursday 3PM - 12AMFriday 11AM - 3PM

THE BUSINESS

Westray Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced finishing operator to work for our client on a permanent day shift basis. Due to the company location it will prove advantageous for candidates to hold their own transport.

THE ROLE

• Ensure documented pre-start checks are undertaken
• Efficient and safe production methods adhered to at all times
• Accurate reporting of deviations and resolved with team leader
• Liaise with Engineers regarding breakdowns of equipment to ensure minimum downtime
• Contribute to daily production targets
• Loading and unloading of machinery
• FLT loading and unloading as required
• Seeking “Continuous Improvement” through innovation and generation of new ideas

THE PERSON

• Experienced at following verbal and written process
• Computer literate with accurate data inputting skills
• FLT certificate of competence
• Proven ability to working with production machinery
