Job description
A rare opportunity has arisen within a long established manufacturing company in the Medway Towns for a CNC Factory Operative to work in the Machine Shop on a permanent basis.
The position involves:
- Processing mouldings within the machining department encompassing CNC turning, CNC Milling, manual turning, manual milling and drilling.
- Processing of parts in accordance with the relevant drawings, techniques and instructions.
You may also be required to undertake the following tasks on occasion:
- Inspection of machined parts.
- First off checks of other operators work.
- Duties may vary and can include other roles when required.
Working Hours:
This is 48 hour per week role working the following hours:
- Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 16:30 or
- Monday to Thursday, 06:00 - 14:00 and Friday, 06.00 - 14.30.
The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing and CNC experience, must work well under pressure and to deadlines, have excellent time keeping skills, a positive can-do attitude and great literacy and numeracy skills. Ideal candidate must also be able to work using their own initiative and prioritise tasks whilst being able to problem solve.
