Job description
Due to development and growth, we are looking to recruit Machine Operator on our Food Manufacturing site in Warrington on permanent contract. Internally we call this role as Line Setter. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up machines on daily basics. You will also report any deficiencies to the Zone Manager.
To apply for the role, you must be at least 18 years old and available work for full time.
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 17:00pm-00:30am
Pay Rate: £11.78 per hour
- Responsible for setting up machines ready for preparation of products
- Operating the machines in line with related safety procedures
- Collaborate with the production and ensure the smooth running of production
- Work as part of a team in a chilled and noisy environment
- Cover of other roles when necessary, including supervision of operatives;

Our Warrington site is also known as the Italian centre of excellence, recent expansion and investment make this site a state-of-the-art manufacturing unit! We produce high quality Italian ready meals for both Tesco & Co-Op.
What we’re looking for- Good level of English and Math's
- Basics Mechanical attitude and computer skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work unsupervised
- Good communication skills
- Can-do attitude and willingness to help team in times on demand
- Basic understanding of health & Safety and Food Hygiene (although training will be given)
- Experiences in similar role are essential!
