We are currently hiring individuals to join our team at Contract Production in Pickering. If you have prior experience within the electronic industry, or simply have an interest within the electronic industry and possess a technical mind, adaptability, and a keen eye for detail, this role is perfect for you!
What our client offers:
Competitive Salary: Earn a yearly salary of £22,912, equivalent to £11.75 per hour.
Overtime Opportunities: Enjoy the potential for overtime pay at a rate of 1.5 times your hourly wage after working 37.5 hours per week within the week and 2.0 times your hourly rate on a Saturday
Favourable Working Hours: Monday to Thursday schedule of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with an early finish on Fridays at 1:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Surface Mount Technology machinery and ensuring quality and process consistency.
- Proficientlysoldering through hole and SMD components.
- Running Pick and place equipment or similar machinery.
- Interpreting and understanding engineering diagrams, including Gerber files, 3rd angle projection drawings, and PDFs.
- Have a great work ethic, willingness to learn and Keen eye for detail.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in the electronics industry is highly desirable but NOT essential.
- Basic soldering experience is desirable.
- Familiarity with operating Pick and Place equipment or relatable machinery.
- Technical mindset and adaptability.
