M&E Contracts Manager
Hodge Electrical & Mechanical Ltd are an established M&E and Renewable's contractor, who are looking to recruit an Electrical Contracts Manager due to continued success and growth.
We are family run business, with over 50 years experience specialising in new build housing developments with a wide range of clients across Devon & Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their career within a progressive and successful business.
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Contracts Manager. Our ideal candidate would have worked in a Electrical role previously, with a strong background in new build construction and project management. They should be self-motivated, a good communicator, highly organised, results driven and able to lead a team.
Responsibilities
- Manage project schedules, scope of work and allocate appropriate work force.
- Coordinate with developers, site managers, subcontractors and the Hodge team to ensure quality of work.
- Manage schedules, budget, cost extras and subcontracts.
- Coordinate with project managers and Hodge employees to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Perform site visits, attend site meetings and liaise with employees as required
- Prepare site reports for each phase of projects to both developers and senior Hodge management.
- Ensure compliance with all local codes and regulations.
- Manage H&S to the highest standard, monitor and report any incidents

-2+ years of experience in new build construction with a preferred minimum of 1+ year experience in project management.
- NICEIC 18th Edition , 2391 Test and Inspect
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good IT skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
