Mergers and Acquisitions Project Manager
Leeds or London
Flexible / Hybrid working options (up to 2 days WFH)
£45 -£50k + 10% bonus + fantastic benefits
37.5 hours per week

Role Overview:
You will play a key role in supporting Mergers and Acquisitions team in the performance of a full business partnering service by supporting project management and due diligence.
What you’ll do:
- Devise and manage Acquisition Opportunity log for potential acquisitions, carrying out initial screening and responding to introductions
- Prepare, update and project plans for transactions including interdependencies, critical paths and progress
- Devise and manage actions trackers including following up against actions for all transactions
- Establish risk log for relevant projects ensuring mitigating actions are managed and risks are updated timely and appropriately, escalating issues arising as required
- Assist in maintaining the Questions and Answer log through the due diligence process
- Support the budgeting and managing of costs in relation to the project, including providing a monthly report on costs and forecasts
What you’ll bring:
- Have thorough experience of working in M&A transactions
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be an excellent relationship builder, with the ability to support and challenge colleagues in a constructive and effective manner
- Highly organised, be able to work across multiple projects at the same time and to re-prioritise tasks
- Proven track record of Project Management
- Self motivated, willing to take on new challenges and experience of working in an Agile way
- Good knowledge of Excel, Word and Power point
