Role: LV Mains Jointer
Location: Sunderland
Hours: 7.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday

The Role
As a direct result of business growth, we have several vacancies for qualified LV Mains Jointers, who go out of their way to exceed minimum requirements. Working with our dedicated Northern Power Grid team, you will be undertaking all LV jointing and associated works on the electrical network.
The activities that you will get involved with include:
- Complying with DSR, Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures and practices
- Carrying out all relevant testing procedures and document results
- Providing accurate asset records, detailing works carried out
- Conducting dynamic site-specific risk assessments
- Ensuring sites are left compliant for other trades and the public
We’d love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following…
LV Mains jointing accreditation with experience of working in a similar role on the local DNO electrical network, knowledge of linking and fusing, fault management and experience working with various cables such as PILC, CONSAC and WNE. Existing and in date DNO authorisations essential.
A Streetworks (NRSWA) accreditation and a first aid qualification are both highly desirable and it’s essential that you have a full and valid driver’s licence.
