Luxury Fashion: Sales Assistant

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a reliable, hard-working and confident fashion lover with a good attitude and a big smile. The role would be ideal for someone with customer service experience, with a ‘can do’ attitude and a big smile to welcome clients to our pre-loved luxury store. Someone who is both excellent at selling and can offer exceptional customer service. As this is a retail role you will be expected to work a total of 5 days a week with one weekend day included. There will be an opportunity to progress within the company over the years so we are looking for someone who is looking to learn and grow with us.
The role:
- Building up a strong relationship with loyal and much loved clientele.
- Upselling and cross-selling to the customer to help them find what they’re looking for as well as styling them.
- Visual merchandising by colour and category.
- Shop floor standards, tidying and organising the store and office.
- Encouraging customers to also shop from our website and signing up to our mailer.
- Working alongside other departments occasionally to help with any operational needs during quieter periods.
- As you grow within your role, you will latterly have the opportunity to learn how to take in products, what to select and how to price.
Reporting to:
Store Manager
Requirements:
- At least 1 years experience in customer service, retail or similar
- Great people skills, with confidence and a focus of going over & above for clients
- Excellent communication, organisation, reliability and attention to detail
- Proven sales track record
- Perfect written and spoken English
- A can-do attitude, warm disposition, and a big smile
- A desire to remain and grow with the company
- A passion for luxury fashion
- A basic understanding of current trends and luxury brands
- Excellent multitasking skills and able to work accurately at a fast-pace
- A basic understanding of Microsoft programmes such as Word & Excel
Employment Type
- Full-time (35 hours a week)
Salary
£12.00 / hour (Perm position) + annual bonus paid into two equal instalments if sales targets are hit
