We are looking for a Full Time Supervisor to join our UNIQLO Loss Prevention Team!
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours (5/7 days a week)
Flexibility: Must be able to work a flexible schedule
Location: Manchester with potential London visits
Salary: £12.65 ph
Job Purpose
Responsible for all initiatives and daily tasks associated with Loss Prevention and Safety Management directed by the Loss Prevention Manager to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all employees and company assets. To partner with Store Management team to identify root causes of stock loss, create action plans to reduce and deliver the company Loss Prevention strategy to the store team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full knowledge of and exemplify LP/safety policy, procedure, and standards.
- Proactively deter and prevent anti-social behaviour, criminal activity, and theft according to company protocol. Consulting with store management, Police, and any external agencies to provide awareness.
- Monitor potential employee theft suspicions. Partner with LP Manager to address concerns.
- Prepare incident reports, accident reports and investigate reports according to company guidelines.
- Assist management in the investigation shortage and employee policy and procedure violations. Utilising CCTV where necessary.
- Communicate and support all initiatives surrounding shortage reduction including, but not limited to audits, inventory counts and stock accuracy etc.
- Continuous review of high-risk products, offer recommendations and solutions to potential loss/safety concerns and ensuring that measures are managed within the store.
- Ensure complete confidentiality with regards to all situations and investigations.
- Special projects/events as assigned.
- Respond to alarm calls as needed and required to resolve all issues causing them.
- Assist store operations in day-to-day operations leading to and supporting sales.
- Support and train store employees on LP policies and procedures, ensure compliance.
- Support and train in health & safety and maintenance control.
- Support and train in delivery & inventory management.
- Support and train in store procedures to minimize shortage.
- Support and manage the on-site Security team.
- Manage aspects of visitor access on site.
- Consulting with the alarm company to resolve any issues found, investigate where necessary.
- Conducting feedback sessions with staff members on any cash variances found, policy or procedure violations.
- Communicating with line managers on a weekly and monthly basis on tasks performed and outstanding.
- Loss Prevention based administration tasks.
Required Skills and Experience
- Retail / Loss Prevention / Security experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required and knowledge of computer applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, G-Drive.
- Must be able to work for extended periods at a desk on a computer or standing/walking as required.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
- Able to work using your own initiative.
- Has a positive, professional attitude, is flexible and adaptable.
- Ability to prioritise tasks; ability to react to changing priorities.
- Ability to operate efficiently and effectively in a pressurized environment.
