Job description

Key Tasks and Areas of Responsibility:

Create channel volume forecast by day for current month and actualise

Create 12-month rolling channel forecast by week and month

Plan peak season, sale and Black Friday with couriers

Coordinate and book daily collections for DPD and Evri for Wholesale, Retail and Ecom

Coordinate thrice weekly timed delivery service for GANT Regent St. using specialist carrier

Responsible for optimising outbound carrier selection for Retail/Wholesale for cost efficiencies

Retail store deliveries:

  • Arrange shipments
  • Send tracking numbers to Retail team and/or stores
  • Check and confirm all deliveries are received
  • Follow up and resolve missing or late deliveries
  • Process claims and follow through until resolution

Arrange Wholesale, Retail (incl. Seasonal returns) and GANT HQ returns using most cost efficient solution

Responsible for raising claims against couriers for all channels

Work closely with global customer service team to set up and develop a process to manage delivery issues

Maintain a claims tracker by channel and GBP value

Respond to courier questions regarding GANT delivery queries/issues in a timely manner

Coordinate ordering courier consumables etc. to 3PL

Manage monthly invoicing process for all outbound and returns couriers:

  • Main contact for receipt of all courier invoices and related backup files
  • Validate all invoices at line level versus courier rate card
  • Validate overall invoiced volume versus ERP shipped volumes
  • Validate B2C duty and VAT invoice for Republic of Ireland shipments

Responsible for maintaining courier performance data and driving service improvements

Be the main interface between 3PL and couriers

Hold monthly meetings to review delivery performance and KPIs with couriers

Hold quarterly business reviews with couriers

Communicate delays and carrier issues to logistics team and key stakeholders

Communicate temporary or permanent delivery/return lead times to key stakeholders
