About the role
Reporting in to our Logistics Section Leaders, you will be responsible for effectively managing a small team of Logistics Operatives, ensuring they are completing their assigned tasks correctly and in line with all Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations.
In this busy and hands-on role, you will pro-actively motivate the team and provide direction to all operatives, conducting team briefs at the start of each shift with the support of your Section Leader.
About you
To be successful in this role you will need to be a positive and motivated team player that possesses strong leadership skills. Ideally you will have previous experience within logistics and warehousing, and it’s beneficial to already have obtained forklift licenses and be IOSH trained. Communication skills are key to this role as well as having good IT skills for administrative duties as and when needed. Building strong relationships with other areas of the business is important as you will liaise with them on a day-to-day basis, particularly the materials and planning department.
