Job description
Are you our next Logistic Support Worker wanting to join us in the NHS?
We are looking for motivated people who have knowledge and understanding of being able to receipt items, whilst using a computer.
You will be required to provide excellent customer service, and timely distribution to meet the customer needs and requirements, whilst maintaining secure and safe working practices.
You will use a hand scanner to scan barcoded items, including sorting and forward delivery of Internal and External post. Picking and packing of products as well as the forward delivery of packed roll cages and trolleys carrying various items.
We offer full, on the job training and support to all of our staff.
There is a need to be flexible in working hours and location as we are University Hospital Dorset merged organisation. You may be required to work cross site.
Working Hours– Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm (30 minute lunch break).
After Training you will also be included on a staff Rota working Saturdays & Bank Holidays (8am -12am) 4 hrs with adjustments & additional payment.
