Baker Hughes, Process and Pipeline Services (PPS) division has an opening for a “Logistics Specialist” at Aberdeen, United Kingdom location. The primary role of the person will be to provide logistics support in UK & Europe region, which would include arranging accurate shipping documentation, follow-up with forwarders, customs and ensuring logistics compliance in the region.
As a Logistics, you will be responsible for:
Arranging and managing all logistics activities and related systems information, both internationally and within the UK region.- Arranging required customs clearances shipping/receiving & packing activities as needed.
- Liaising with PPS approved Logistics Service Providers (LSP) to attain best cost/service options for PPS shipments.
- Being responsible for the shipments handled. Support & update, if needed during afterhours.

To be successful in this role you will:
Have demonstrable previous experience in logistics operations across land, sea and air- Be able to show excellent understanding and knowledge of international customs
- Have the ability to demonstrate experience within INCOTERMS - documentation & International customs
