My client is recruiting for a hardworking and committed Management Information (MI) & Data Officer.
You will be working for a federation of charities and will be working on a new partnership approach to delivering low level mental health support in local areas.
The role is to start from September 2023
This is a permanent opportunity; however, funding is only confirmed until June 2024, which may be extended.
This is a part-time position to work 3 days per week.
The hours are 22.5 hours per week, flexible working can be discussed
This role is Home based, with the ability to travel to the Workington office occasionally (around once a month). The bulk of the work can be completed from home.
Salary: £22,147.22 per annum, pro rata
Purpose of the role:
You will support the following:
Management, operations and development in the use of management information with a view to improving performance and quality of programme delivery across the new partnership.
Implementation and maintenance of the management systems across the partnership ensuring that information is accurate and meets funding rules and deadlines.
The Partnership Lead and wider delivery teams and will be responsible for updating and processing information from our delivery staff, collating accurate data and summarising this in reports, collating information from all partners for social media posts and web page updates as well as supporting the wider team to achieve its objectives.
Your role will be integral to maintaining systems for the partnership and to ensure data is accurate and evidence is compliant.

- engage with partners via telephone, in person and in writing, supporting the wider team to achieve its objectives.
- Maintain effective relationships with colleagues, Partners and suppliers including key staff across the partnership
- Support the Partnership Management Team with the submission and auditing of programme’s financial quarterly submission claim
- Building good relationships with key staff across the partnership
- Develop a good understanding of all programme funding guidelines and contractual compliance
- Produce regular updates on social media and collate information from partners to create posts for website and social media
- Issue deadlines to delivery staff to meet programme requirements
- Update and maintain an internal customer information database which will be utilised to manage current and historical data
- Assist in audit function for MI and administration systems/documentations assisting as required in preparation for external audits, due diligence and inspections
- Assist the delivery partners to ensure that the information on the Management Information System is of a high quality and consistent
- Create operational performance and activity reports, which are issued to partner managers on a quarterly basis.
- Maintain and improve effective MI systems (computerised and manual) relating to documentation required by contracting funding bodies, preparation of information relating to contract outcomes and programme performance
- Support the partnership lead with ongoing development and evaluation of the programme
- Help monitor MI & output related information and prepare and maintain relevant data for management analysis as directed
- Liaise with all partners to gather appropriate information, check MI accuracy, updating relevant databases and trackers
- Support the team in the preparation of papers for Partnership meetings and events
- Arrange and book meetings, take meeting minutes, collate summaries of information from meetings, disseminate information about services and programme delivery to all partners on a regular basis
- Under direction of the line manager to create new MI database as required
- Dealing with day to day administrative tasks, including the central e-mail address, answering calls in a timely manner and escalating messages accordingly. Make appointments and produce statistical information as required
- Working within specific standards to assist in the preparation of future audits
Ideally candidates will have/ be:
Proficient in Excel
Experience communicating via telephone & Microsoft teams
The ability to commute to the Workington office if required (occasionally)
Experience of working as a Data officer/ MI Officer
