Job description
As a Hospital Porter at Sodexo in {insert location), you play a key role in the daily running of the hospital, ensuring the safe transportation of patients, as well as equipment, blood products, and gas cylinders. You can also ease some of the stress that is frequently associated with hospitalisation by engaging in professional yet friendly conversations with patients, staff, and visitors. What you’ll do:
- Transfer patients in a safe and appropriate manner via means of walking, wheelchair, stretcher, or beds
- Always conduct yourself professionally, and be aware of patients’ dignity and privacy when it comes to their personal information
- Give assistance and help with any queries raised by patients and visitors
- Be a champion of health and safety and use any personal protective equipment provided
- Assist in the transfer of seriously injured patients from the ambulance/helicopter to the A & E department

Package Description- Hours: 37.5
- Days required to work per week / Shift pattern: 5 OVER 7 Between 6:00am/20:00pm
- Rate of pay:10.37
