ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Logistics Module Representative to join our Pre Series Logistics team. Reporting to the Functional Manager – Projects, the Logistics Module Representative is responsible for managing the introduction of parts through the maturation process to full quality note approval.
Key responsibilities include:
- Act as the Logistics representative in the Module and cross-functional product change teams. To support decision-making, take responsibility for logistics actions, feedback information and escalate any issues to the Logistics function.
- The Logistics module representative is responsible for managing the introduction of parts through the maturation process to full quality note approval.
- Timing the introduction of Engineering Changes in the Company and Group systems
- Ability to interrogate Bill of Material
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful applicant will have experience within a logistics environment with an understanding of logistics processes. Ideally you will be from an Automotive or Manufacturing background, although candidates from similar industries with the relevant experience will also be considered.
You will demonstrate:
- Experience of working within a logistics role in a large manufacturing operation exposed to matrix management structure in project environment
- An understanding of logistics change management process and knowledge of engineering change processes and systems.
- Experience of working with external suppliers, external contacts and internal customers.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail
- Proven problem solving skills
