Do you have strong planning skills with the ability to handle multiple projects to completion and to manage competing priorities? Do you enjoy working both independently and collaboratively? Then we have an amazing opportunity for to join our team as a Logistics Manager in Dearne Valley.

You'll be responsible for the distribution and return of all Webhelp equipment to and from colleagues' home environments and between Webhelp locations. This will include distribution of equipment for new and existing colleagues and the timely return of equipment from previous colleagues.

What you'll be doing
  • Ensuring continuous development across all aspects of logistics
  • Developing processes to increase efficiencies across the department
  • Developing reporting and engaging communication related to Logistics to give Line Managers clarity of performance and processes
  • Working with Health & Safety in a systematic way, ensuring integration in daily operations
  • Maintaining and developing systems for real-time stock control
  • Using systems to manage stock levels, delivery times and transport costs
  • Allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs
  • Implementing sustainability initiatives to complement the business’ environmental strategy
  • Building relationships with third-party contractors to ensure efficiencies both in terms of process and cost
  • Motivating and developing the wider logistics team
  • Conducting horizon scanning exercises to ensure the business is prepared for new ways of working and best practices
  • Liaising with Operations and Project Managers to give assurance that all requirements are being fulfilled

What you'll need

  • Strong knowledge of safe work procedures, risk assessments and control management
  • A strategic outlook and structured approach
  • Proven knowledge of relevant standards and ways of working
  • Excellent planning, organisational, decision making, stakeholder management, influencing and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including innovative methods of communication
