Job description
We are currently looking for a UK Logistics Manager to join our team. You'll work for 35 hours a week, with an hour lunchbreak.
In this role you will be responsible for :
Warehouse and Transport (Bostik UK and sister companies)
- Implement and follow up global process across UK.
- Coordinate local Logistics teams.
- Implement KPIs to measure activity and performance.
- Implement and follow up action plan for continuous improvement.
- Build, challenge and provide consolidated budget at UK level.
- Review and optimize costs across UK.
- Define and lead projects to generate target savings
- Review the logistic footprint in the UK, in conjunction with EMEA Logistics and UK Supply Chain Director, in order to optimize costs and inventory.
- Define needs and support implementation of corporate tools and policies (PowerBI, SAP, TMS, …).
- Work with Supply Chain Director and EMEA Logistics to optimize the Network Distribution Model.
- Work with Supply Chain Director and Customer Service to assess transport and warehouse activity performance.
- Link with Bostik EMEA Logistics implementing corrective actions to the Transport Plan.
- Implement action plan to solve potential issues with transport and warehouse activities.
UK Transport Dangerous Goods Manager. Responsible for UK Safety and Dangerous Goods.
- Tracking and reporting actuals versus KPIs and report results for Monthly RCG, Sales and Marketing and S&OP meetings.
Business
- Support the business in providing support and coordinate cost saving projects
- Responsible for the quotation for Third Party Logistic provider tenders in the near future
We are looking for someone who has the following qualifications/experience -
- 5 years’ experience in Transport and Warehousing management [excellent opportunity for logistics professionals to move to a managerial role]
