Job Description:
Aquacut Limited is looking for a full-time Factory Manager to lead our fabrication team. The fabrication teams process mainly porcelain (70%), stone (20%) and various other materials offering a range of services to create functional and appealing building finishes. The Factory Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the fabrication teams, including production, quality control and making sure supplies of consumables are kept on hand. This position will also be responsible for the safety and health of our employees.

Your biggest challenges will be implementing and maintaining high performing quality control, production scheduling and resource management systems. We have a very good H&S record which also must be maintained.
Salary will be subject to review after six months and will be increased depending on performance. Bonuses are based on company profitability.
Requirements:
Minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple interruptions
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- COVID 19 Vaccination Card
- Proof of Covid 19 Vaccination required upon hire
Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate all aspects of production, including but not limited to, production schedules, product quality control, inventory management, cost management, and reporting.
- Capturing all information when templating- making sure all sizes etc. are recorded and all elements of job are discussed with customer and tiler (if possible) to make sure we deliver as promised on each job.
- Ensuring all job cards and drawings for production contain all relevant information required for our team to be able to carry out the work as requested by the customer.
- Monitor current work levels to give accurate lead times to customers, and make sure we have the resources to keep to these lead times as best we can.
- Look at each department's efficiency, making sure we make the most of our working day.
- Discuss each job with supervisors making sure they fully understand the requirements and reduce the number of issues we have, reducing the amount of rework.
- Looking at our overall process from quotes to invoicing and altering where see fit to improve organization and help things run smoothly.
- Look to install a new workflow recording system to allow all members of staff to view the status of any job and keep the customers up to date with completion dates etc.
- Ensure all areas of production are complying to relevant H & S rules and that all PPE etc. Is always worn.
- review current machines/ production methods and put forward ideas for improvement to help us become more efficient/ competitive.

- Monthly budgeting for board meetings.
- Staff management.
