Job Summary
Support the Logistics team in meeting the Logistics and Compliance requirements of Zeeco Europe Ltd,
ensuring internal and external customer expectations are met.
Key responsibilities

• Support and meet the daily requirements all Zeeco Departments by sourcing cost effective

freight solutions to meet the needs of the Plant and Customer.

• Manage and utilize reporting / booking tools and databases to support data collection for

analysis and day to day operations.

• Liaise and negotiate with 3rd party logistics providers to obtain best rates and service levels.
• Hi-light, record and action any carrier issues.
• Manage freight shipments to ensure on time collection and delivery, meeting the requirements

of the customer

• Work closely with all Departments to ensure shipping documentation is accurate and Customs

compliant.

• Liaise with local Chamber of Commerce to apply for shipping certs.
• Support operational aspects of the freight pay process in order to close out and process invoices

in a timely manner, working with Finance Department. Includes raising of purchase orders
utilizing sage software.

• Communicate any shipping / transportation issues to All / Relevant Department.
• Identify and support cost reduction initiatives, support cross functional initiatives within

Logistics scope.

• Support preparation of month end reporting.
• Assist & participate in freight /transportation service provider review meetings.
• Assist & participate in internal meetings with Project Managers to understand Logistics

requirements.
Skills & Qualities

• Motivated to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Excellent attention to detail required to understand Logistics requirements and completion of

documentation.

• Supply Chain / Logistics experience would be beneficial, but not essential.
• Some knowledge and experience in National and International Transportation would be

beneficial, but not essential.

• Good Verbal/Written Communication skills. Ability to communicate and cooperate cross

functionally with all Supply Chain Departments and Freight partners.

• Forward critical thinking to identify potential issues / gaps in processes
• Microsoft skills mandatory, predominately excel.
• Must be within 1 hour drive from LE15 7QT
