We are looking for a motivated Logistics Coordinator to join our team at our global warehousing and distribution facility in Old Kilpatrick (Glasgow) on a full-time, staff basis.
What will you be doing?
As Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for arranging the exportation and importation of equipment and consumables by land, sea, and air, to locations around the world both onshore and offshore.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Support Subsea7 Pipeline Group Production and the wider organisation, with exporting and importing of equipment and consumables (temporary and permanent), ensuring the company meets in-country tax and other legislative obligations.
- Oversee the completion and processing of all necessary documents (including commercial invoices) ensuring they are legal and accurate and share as required.
- Process UK transport requests and maintaining relevant documentation and records.
- Following up with internal and external customers and vendors to ensure deliveries have been made and keeping key stakeholders up to date with progress.
- Closely liaising with Stores to ensure collection and delivery schedules are met and adhered to throughout all stages of the export/import process.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, regulation, and legislation, in particular understanding the regulations of importing and exporting.
- Provide support during HMRC, ISO certification and other relevant audits
- Provide support to ensure the effective operation of the organisations Equipment Management System.
- Contribute to development of systems/procedures and improvement programmes.
- Participate in stock audits as required.
- Carry out any other tasks as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by the line manager or Head of Department.
What experience would we like you to have?

- Proven experience in a fast-paced logistics and supply chain management environment, specifically within the manufacturing or oil & gas sector.
- Knowledge and understanding of logistics, shipping and imports/exports regulations and legal compliance.
- Proficient IT skills – SAP, Microsoft Office, Adobe, file format conversion.
- Can communicate effectively (verbal and written) at all levels with a high attention to detail
- Self-driven, works well individually with minimal supervision and accepts accountability for effective delivery of project targets.
- Effective planning and organisational skills, able to prioritise.
- Proactively makes suggestions for improvements to systems and procedures
- Shows commitment to self-improvement, education and development
