Logistics Coordinator

We are recruiting a Logistics Coordinator, based at our Central Support Office, Newcastle upon Tyne.

Contract Type: Permanent Contract
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40hrs per week (hybrid working available)
Competitive Salary: £25,000 to £27,000 + Profit Share Scheme, where you can earn up to 20% of salary

About the Role!
As Logistics Coordinator, you will have a good working knowledge of the transport sector and a professional and organised approach to work in a busy, pressurised environment. Tasked with the efficient coordination of inter-depot, inbound and outbound distribution to improve both the utilisation of own fleet and third party transport. This role is integral to providing both outstanding delivery to all stakeholders and a support function to service and compliance part of the team.
As well as making sure our customers experience great service by working closely with your colleagues, you will also ensure we are compliant at all times by adhering to Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality processes.

- Previous experience in a Logistics role.
- Ability to work within a large team environment.

- We have Depots spread throughout England and Scotland, so good geographical knowledge of the UK will be essential for this role.
